The story of this house

This house was built in 1876 as part of Mariners Row, which were three near-identical cottages built in the Victorian fashion. It's first resident was Captain William Joseph Rendell (1845-1929). Originally, this house, like its neighbours, had extensive views down to the bay at Annandale, where they could see ships entering and leaving Johnson's Bay. The house has since passed through many owners, with the current having resided there for many years. The house is essentially similar to as when it was built, but of course, updated and repaired over time.
